This week we have another PS5 Welcome Hub Widget that Sony is currently testing, and then PlayStations VP of 2nd and Third Party Strategies does an interview which breaks down a lot of how they manage games on their platform. Theyve funded over 120 games this generation! Woah. Alright we also have lots of news going on like estimated sales of Saros, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet details, Marathon PVE content, the Helldivers 2 controversy, Marvel Tokon stuff, and Uncharted 4s 10th Anniversary! Then we have GTA VI Pre-order rumors, Ken Kevines Judas, Dead Space stuff, Halo, Stellar Blades Sequel, another AI controversy. This week was BUSY. And so am I. I still dont have my Saros Platinum and thats a problem.

This week Sony decided to roll out a new feature for PSN and the PlayStation Store where you can finally request refunds! Except the policy didnt really change so you probably wont qualify for most of them. Well in the meantime we have another big PS6 Portable rumor! Codename Canis has some alleged specs and a docked mode?! Interesting stuff there. This week we also have news from Gran Turismo 7, Ghost of Yotei, teamLFG, and Hermen Hulst discussing live service games (again). We also have a roung of third party stories about indie devs avoiding Silksong, MGS Deltas PS5 performance, Clair Obscur, Judas, Atari, theres so much going on! Oh yeah I forgot to mention the MENA Hero Project. Theres a lot. Im gonna call it there and get myself a Pumpkin Spice Latte now. Tis the season!

The memory and storage crisis got much bigger this past week with the Steam Machine pricing revealed and Xbox confirming more price increases themselves. Analysts have since weighed in on the potential PS6 price tag and its not looking good. This week was also the pre-order debut for Grand Theft Auto VI and while we now know the game commands an $80 price tag, the shocking news is that the physical copy has no disc! Its instead a download code in the box. A worrying signal for other publishers in the industry, no doubt. We also have news for God of War Laufey, Marvels Wolverine, Bungie layoffs, and more PS Store shovelware shenanigans. This economy aint slowin down folks, and it is BRUTAL.

This week saw the release of Ghost of Yotei on PS5, a new major release from Sucker Punch! And with it came a big day 1 patch which isnt ideal unfortunately, but at least the game is finally here. We also have a teardown of the new PS5 Slim Digital Edition and yup, Sony is definitely trying to cost down the bill of materials. We finally have matte black plastic on a PlayStation 5! There was also a rumor this week about a new DualSense coming with a removable battery. Is this for EU compliance in 2027? Theres also a rumor that just dropped about Sony beginning to sunset PSN features for developers that are trying to submit PS4 games. So the consoles time is finally upon us, huh? Oh and we cant forget the Halo Remake rumor, EAs going private deal, and Xbox Game Pass prices going up.
