The very first PS3 game emulated and released on PlayStation 5 is here from the studio RedoApps, which is an emulation company focused on re-releasing PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. Cloudberry Kingdom is their first PS3 title and while it does have some issues, we’ve still got history being made here. Running at 1080p with basic save states, we take a look at the first PS3 emulation title and talk about what the studio co-founders are saying for their plans moving forward. Will the SPU’s be a problem? Yup. Will AAA games be a problem? No doubt. But the future is looking bright as we see the first PS3 game get commercially re-released under emulation.
