PlayStation Now (PS Now), was a standalone video game subscription service developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The service offered cloud gaming for PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 4 games that could be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windows computers. In addition, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 4 games could be downloaded to play locally on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.[2] With the expansion of the PlayStation Plus service to offer additional tiers in May-June 2022, the standalone PlayStation Now subscription was shut down, but its services were incorporated into the PlayStation Plus Premium tier.[3]
No games could be downloaded to a PC.[4] Downloaded games could be played without an internet connection, but internet connection was required for verification every few days.[5][6]
Non-PlayStation devices required a DualShock 3, 4, DualSense, or any XInput-compatible controller, such as an Xbox gamepad, to use the service. If members intended to stream their games, Sony recommended that players have a minimum of 5 Mbps internet connection to achieve good performance.[7]

History
PlayStation Now was announced on January 7, 2014 at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show powered by technology from Gaikai.[8][9] At CES, Sony presented demos of The Last of Us, God of War: Ascension, Puppeteer, and Beyond: Two Souls, playable through PS Now on Bravia TVs and PlayStation Vita.[10] The closed beta began in the United States on January 28 with PS3, and on May 19 was extended to PS4.[9][11][12]
To implement the service, Sony created a single motherboard equivalent to 8 PS3 console units into a server rack to allow the games to function, as opposed to software emulation, due to architectural complexity.[13][14]
PlayStation Now was launched in Open Beta in the United States and Canada on PS4 on July 31, 2014, on PS3 on September 18, 2014, on PS Vita and PS TV on October 14, 2014, with support for select 2014 Bravia TVs coming later in the year.[12][15] At Gamescom 2014, SCE announced that PS Now would arrive in Europe in 2015, with the United Kingdom to be the first European country to access the service.[16] On December 24, 2014, Sony announced that PlayStation Now would expand to the other electronic brands.[17]
On CES 2015, Sony confirmed that PlayStation Now would arrive in North America on PS4 as full release on January 13, 2015. On March 7, 2015, it was revealed that PlayStation Now was accessible in Europe.[18] Official beta invites for Europe started going out to PS4 owners on April 15, 2015.[19]
On February 17, 2017, Sony announced it would discontinue PlayStation Now on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, Sony Bravia televisions (modeled between 2013–15), Sony Blu-ray players and all Samsung televisions by August 15, 2017.[20]
On September 20, 2018, Sony announced that users on PlayStation 4 would be able to download PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 4 games offered via the service as Sony started to gradually roll out the new feature to subscribers.[2]
On January 23, 2019, Sony announced that the service would be launching in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden later in the year. A beta for these countries launched in early February[21] and the full service launched on March 12, 2019.[22]
On April 22, 2021, Sony announced that support for 1080p streaming would start rolling out during the week.[23]
Games
PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 4 games on PlayStation Now could be streamed to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. As of 2020, there were over 800 games available, with over 300 of them available for download to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. New games were added every month.[15]
After a 7-day free trial, there were three pricing options available for the subscription service.[15]
A separate subscription fee for online multiplayer was not required for PlayStation Now games. The three pricing options gave access to both single player and online multiplayer components.[15]
Availability
PlayStation Now was available in Europe (including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom), North America (Canada and the United States), as well as Japan.

About:
I hope you enjoy this unboxing video of the Clockwork Aquario Ultra Collectors Edition from Strictly Limited Games. This game has set a Guinness World record for the longest time between a video game project start and final release 28 years and 81 days even surpassing Duke Nukem Forever at 14 odd years.
My main interest in this game stems from the love for my favourite Sega Master System title of the same developer Westone. Wonderboy 3 the Dragon’s Trap and it’s modern day remake Wonderboy: The Dragons Trap. this game is single handidly responsible for me falling down the Retro Gaming rabbit hole which is a story for another day but needless to say that when I saw that the Legendary Developer Westone who is famous for the WonderBoy/Monsterworld Series had a long lost title and that Strictly Limited Games were bringing it back to life, I jumped at the chance to get the Ultra Collectors Edition of the game.
Clockwork Aquario[b] is a platform game developed by Westone and published by ININ Games for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The gameplay involves defeating waves of enemies, picking up power-ups and items, and destroying bosses across multiple levels to stop Dr. Hangyo from taking over the world.
Clockwork Aquario was intended to be the last arcade game by Westone, developed in 1992 for Sega System 18 and push the hardware to its limits; however, it was canceled due to the increasing popularity of 3D games and fighting games in arcades as well as negative feedback during location tests in 1993. In 2017, Strictly Limited Games acquired the rights from Sega, with ININ Games collaborating on a restoration work alongside former Westone staff members as certain elements from the projects source code were lost. Clockwork Aquario holds the Guinness world record for the longest time between the start of a video game project and its release, at 28 years and 81 days.
Clockwork Aquario garnered mixed reception from critics; praise was directed to the unconventional pick-up-and-throw combo-chaining system similar to Treasure titles due to the controls, colorful visuals reminiscent of the Mega Drive era, soundtrack and co-op multiplayer, but other felt mixed in regards to the gameplay, difficulty, superfluous ideas, mechanics and overall presentation, while its short length was universally criticized.
Gameplay
Clockwork Aquario is an action-platform game reminiscent of Super Mario Bros. and Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair, where players assume the role of Huck Rondo, Elle Moon or the robot Gush through five stages in order to stop Dr. Hangyo with his plan to take over the world.[1] Players attack by stomping or slapping to grab and throw enemies out across multiple directions, headbutt enemies thrown at characters, as well as catching enemies thrown by other players.[1] In addition, a player can pick up another player and throw them against enemies.[2] Players also have the ability to turn invincible against enemies for a brief period before the characters invincibility gauge is depleted, which can be replenished by picking up items.[1] I broke the ULTRA Collector’s Edition Statue😅](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/IdFr6B-RMPM/mqdefault.jpg)

Sonos, Inc. is an American developer and manufacturer of audio products best known for its multi-room audio products. The company was founded in 2002 by John MacFarlane, Craig Shelburne, Tom Cullen, and Trung Mai. Patrick Spence was named CEO in January 2017[2]
Sonos has partnered with over 100 companies that offer music services, including Pandora, iHeartRadio, Spotify, MOG, QQ Music, and Amazon Music.[3] Sonos products work with the three major voice assistants: Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri, although the latter is currently only supported through Apples Home app.[4] In 2019 Sonos acquired Snips SAS, a privacy-focused AI voice platform for connected devices with the goal to bring a music-specific assistant to its devices.[5]
The Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S (collectively, the Xbox Series X/S[b]) are home video game consoles developed by Microsoft. They were both released on November 10, 2020, as the fourth generation of the Xbox console family, succeeding the Xbox One. Along with Sonys PlayStation 5, also released in November 2020, the Xbox Series X and Series S are part of the ninth generation of video game consoles.[3]
Rumors regarding the consoles first emerged in early 2019, with the line as a whole codenamed Scarlett and consisting of high-end and lower-end models codenamed Anaconda and Lockhart respectively; Anaconda was teased by Microsoft during E3 2019 under the codename Project Scarlett, and unveiled during The Game Awards in December as Xbox Series X. On September 8, 2020, Microsoft unveiled the lower-end model, Xbox Series S.
As with the Xbox One line, the consoles utilize an AMD CPU and GPU. Both models feature a new storage architecture based around solid-state drives to reduce loading times, support for hardware-accelerated ray-tracing and spatial audio, the ability to convert games to high-dynamic-range (HDR) color using machine learning (Auto HDR), support for HDMI 2.1 variable refresh rate and low-latency modes, and updated controllers. Xbox Series X was designed to nominally render games in 2160p (4K resolution) at 60 frames per second (FPS). The lower-end Xbox Series S, which has reduced specifications and does not include an optical drive, was designed to nominally render games in 1440p at 60 FPS, with support for 4K upscaling. About:
The Analogue Pocket is an FPGA-based handheld game console designed and manufactured by Analogue;[2] it was announced on October 16, 2019 and released on December 13, 2021.[3] It is designed to play games for handhelds of the fourth generation of video game consoles and earlier generations.
Design
The device features a design similar to the Nintendo Game Boy,[4] including a physical cartridge slot at the rear of the console. Additional connectivity is provided via microSD card support and USB-C connectivity. Support for wireless controllers and HDMI output is also available through a proprietary docking solution.[5]
The Analogue Pocket is designed around an Altera Cyclone V field-programmable gate array, which it uses to replicate the hardware of the Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance handheld consoles.[6] Adapters are also available which allows the use of Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Atari Lynx game cartridges.[7] This FPGA is also open for developers to create other cores. The Analogue Pocket includes an additional FPGA[8] for system management. Unboxing the Analogue Pocket: Your Ultimate 2023 Setup Guide](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Kk2FnvfN6lU/mqdefault.jpg)

Sony doesnt let you use a PS4 controller for PS5 games natively, which makes local co-op tough if youve only got one DualSense. I tested the QRD BLACKPILL, a wireless adapter that converts PS4 controllers — including Hall Effect ones — to work with PS5 games, to see if it actually solves the problem.

The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is a home video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was announced as the successor to the PlayStation 4 in April 2019, was launched on November 12, 2020, in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, North America, and South Korea, and was released worldwide one week later. The PS5 is part of the ninth generation of video game consoles, along with Microsofts Xbox Series X/S consoles, which were released in the same month.
The base model includes an optical disc drive compatible with Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. The Digital Edition lacks this drive, as a lower-cost model for buying games only through download. The two variants were launched simultaneously.
Dolby Atmos is a surround sound technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. It expands on existing surround sound systems by adding height channels, allowing sounds to be interpreted as three-dimensional objects with neither horizontal nor vertical limitation.[1][2] Following the release of Atmos for the cinema market, a variety of consumer technologies has been released under the Atmos brand, using in-ceiling and up-firing speakers.
Dolby Atmos technology allows up to 128 audio tracks plus associated spatial audio description metadata (location or pan automation data, data about the sounds movement, type, intensity, speed and volume) to be distributed to theaters for optimal, dynamic rendering to loudspeakers based on the theater capabilities.[9] Each audio track can be assigned to an audio channel, the conventional format for distribution, or to an audio object. Dolby Atmos in theaters has a 9.1 (commonly referred to as 7.1.2) channel-based bed channels for ambience stems or center dialogue, leaving 118 tracks for objects.[10] The Ultimate Dolby Atmos Guide for PS5 and Sonos Arc](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/O62vTWrhPz0/mqdefault.jpg)

About:
The PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2) is an upcoming virtual reality headset for the PlayStation 5 home video game console developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment set to be released February 22, 2023.[2][3]
History
Sonys first PlayStation VR was released in 2016. Sony announced the PlayStation VR2 for the PlayStation 5 at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show.[4][5]
A release date of February 22, 2023, and a retail price of $549.99 was announced in November 2, 2022 at the official PlayStation Blog.[6]
Hardware
The headset will connect to the PlayStation 5 console with a single USB-C cable.[2] Unlike the first generation PlayStation VR, which tracked player movements through an external PlayStation Camera, the PS VR2 will track movements by four cameras mounted on the headset.[2][3]
The PlayStation VR2 will have an OLED panel with a 4K display resolution.[2] Each display will have a resolution of 2,000 x 2,040 pixels.[3] The headset has two inward-facing eye-tracking cameras. It uses eye-tracking to enable games to use Foveated rendering, a performance optimization technique where the render resolution of the game is reduced in areas where the player is not looking.[3]
The PS VR2 will also feature the new Sense controllers.[2] The features of these controllers include the same haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the DualSense, as well as some limited finger tracking.[2]
PS VR2 cannot play first generation PS VR games. Sony explains that this is because the PS VR2 was designed to deliver a truly next-generation VR experience.[7][8]
Games and content
More than 20 games are in development for PS VR2 from PlayStation Studios and third party partners, including Resident Evil Village, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution, No Mans Sky, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxys Edge, Demeo and PS VR2 exclusive Horizon Call of the Mountain.[9] Gran Turismo 7 and Beat Saber were also confirmed in January.[10]
Reception
Early previews have been positive.[2] The Sense controllers received acclaim from CNET.[3] The lack of backward compatibility, and the price of the headset received mixed reaction.[11][12][13][14] PlayStation VR2 Launch : What is it?
