After messing with some complex math to develop a proportional drive using the DLCJ (Double Lamina Compliant Joint) a truly simplistic solution emerged. This could be used as a drop in replacement for RepRap Simpson's arms.

A big shoutout to the crazy people in the RepRap forums: Guizmo, A2, and Nicope.
