this is part 8 of my Voron Build, Assembling the "Flying Gantry pt1", sounds like a trapeze act, and it kind of is in the way it works as the bed is completely stationary during print cycles. it is the head that raises and lowers via 4 Z belt driven mounts and the XY movement is covered by an integral Core XY system on the flying gantry. exciting stuff.

I am creating a series of detailed videos showing the progress of building a superior 3D printer with minimal cost leveraging spare parts and salvaged parts were appropriate. Future project will I hope include evaluation of kit builds and more.
