This isn't monkey business, you have to be quite annalidical to understand this one. Time for a glitch most fowl :^)
MECHANICS EXPLANATION
So, there are 2 main releases of Earthworm Jim 3D: The N64 versions (EU & US) and the PC version. There are a few differences between the two versions, but the main one when it comes to speedrunning is the difference in height gaining mechanics.
PC gains height during a twirl (0.05 units per frame), something which N64 doesn't have. This means that some sequence breaks become very trivial (See any recent 100% speedrun on PC for the Hungry Tonite section for various examples).
N64 has the walljump mechanic. In short, when Jim is performing a certain animation and gets a certain type of "movement" (The difference is subtle), you can execute another superjump/jump. This only occurs on certain walls, hence the name.
Emulator behaves very much like PC, so before a few days ago, we couldn't mess around with walljump stuff on emulator. However, with a small bit of script, we can modify emulation behaviour to behave like N64 in certain aspects (in the case here, the twirl height gain was turned off and the walljump mechanic was turned on).
Script: github.com/Isotarge/ScriptHawk
METHOD EXPLANATION
Professor Monkey for a head - Using walljumps, we can get onto the small gap above the 'Death Wormed Up' entrance tunnel. From here, we go through a very small gap between when the tunnel finishes and the loading zone starts so that we can fall down and get a walljump on the tunnel wall. What this allows us to do is get on top of the tunnel, and then execute a few more walljumps to get on top of the fear hub walls.
From here, it's just a simple case of navigation to the PMFAH loading zone.
Poultrygeist - This is pretty much the same story. You may think "Hang on, we've only entered the mansion lobby, not the level". Whilst true, the game only performs the marble check for Poultrygeist when entering the mansion lobby from Fear Hub. There is no check in the mansion lobby when attempting to enter the loading zone to Poultrygeist.
TAS ONLY?
Yes

![K Rool in 12:10 [Former N64 World Record] | Donkey Kong 64
EDIT: Beaten 07-MAR-2020 by TJ who got a 12:09
Did some practice for the upcoming 1545 Restricted Any% relay race (for which DK64s role is No Levels Early) which included me doing one K Rool to just derust more (I did a few the day prior to gauge where my skill was right now). This is the result.
12:09 is definitely possible, but like before, Im no longer going for PB attempts in K Rool. Any time I do it, itll be either during runs or in practice, and Im only doing RTA for occasional races.

![Pause Cancel in Owl Race and other Oddities | Donkey Kong 64 Glitch
A collection of 3 things I found whilst messing around with Owl Race
PAUSE CANCEL WITH OWL RACE
So you can do it with Vulture Race (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3q82VxuPlrQ) and Rabbit Race (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQUs3lBrAXM), Now you can do it in Owl Race too!
This one is far trickier than the other two though. It requires getting TBS near the tree, then starting the race, racing to the Daytime switch so you can activate the FTT as the try again prompt pulls on screen (NOTE: You must be in rocketbarrel for the Try Again prompt to pull up!).
Once this happens, restart the race, and fly over to within the Tag Barrel you got TBS on, and change to a different kong WHILST in the Rocketbarrel. This will autofail the race and pull up the prompt yet again. This means you can cancel this prompt and press start whenever you want to activate pause cancel.
MAINTAIN OWL RACE PROPERTIES
If you cancel the text at a certain time, you can change the time to day mid-race. As a result, the owl despawns and the race ends. However, since the race ends in a manner that is not intended, the properties that are given whilst in Owl race maintain (Eg. Infinite Coconuts, Unable to enter Tag Barrels [Tagging whilst in this mode must be done with Pre-stored tag Barrels]). Reloading the level will remove this effect and return everything to normal.
CANNON SHOT GLITCHING IN FUNGI
Similar to the glitch in Jungle Japes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu2N-beEMTM) amongst other areas, entering the cannon just as you fail the race will send the kong to great heights (Over Y=22,000). New TAS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdCpz_XXEqU
RTA Timing (File Select - Final Marble): 2:19.867
TAS Timing (Power On - Final Input): 2:45.367
This is a TAS of the new Any% category for Earthworm Jim 3D. This category uses a series of precise jumps to get out of bounds to skip directly to the final boss (Earthworm Kim). This skip was discovered a couple days ago.
Earthworm Kim Early Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq_1DaZJHts
After performing this trick, its just a matter of fighting Earthworm Kim. With this, its just a case of good routing to ensure that obtain Ego Boosts (Temporary speed boosts) as much as you can without having to go out of your way too much, on top of collecting marbles efficiently.
Emulation with this game isnt 100% accurate to the N64 version, and behaves more like the PC release, so theres also that.

Shoutouts to Isotarge for his work on ScriptHawk (A lua script for the emulator BizHawk), specifically making it easy to create new modules for new games.
