An exclusive remaster to play in full-dynamic audio range. “Skip Softly (My Moonbeams)” by Procol Harum is from their 1968 album “Shine On Brightly.” The song was written by Gary Brooker, Matthew Fisher, and Keith Reid with an extraordinary wall of sonically distorted guitaring by Robin Trower. The album was at the forefront of the progressive rock movement, especially with its epic side-2 track, “In Held ‘Twas in I.” The band lost many of its 1967 “Whiter Shade of Pale” audience because “Shine On Brightly” was a 180-degree change in its music genre. Robin Trower left the group a couple of years later, and I did see him perform live on his “Bridge of Sighs” tour. All rights are reserved to the copyright owners.
