NeedItMakeIt | Prevent DAMAGE to your good files - Copper File Sheath - Useful Tool Storage @NeedItMakeIt | Uploaded June 2018 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
I have been wanting to create some type of simple storage for my files for some time. Leather was an option, and I do like leather work, but it is time consuming, so I thought I would try something different. Copper is a soft metal, which works fairly easily with a hammer, why not shape it to suit the files and have it protect them in the drawer.

I will report back in the comments about any reactions which may occur between the copper and the steel file.
