President Trump not expected to attend Sept. 11 ceremonies in New York

President Donald Trump is expected to deliver remarks at the Pentagon instead of attending this year’s Sept. 11 ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan. This year marks 25 years since the attacks.

The administration will be represented by Vice President JD Vance. Politicians have not delivered remarks at the ceremony since the National September 11th Memorial stopped allowing speeches in 2012.
