We are planting a ton of garlic this year and we will be starting them off with a nice blanket of compost. We have very poor soil here so we make and use A LOT of compost!

After a Pancake breakfast we spread out some fresh gravel on our bumpy driveway.
We left the rat race in the city for a simple life in the country. We want to relearn sustainability and the skills necessary to raise or grow all of our own food. So many of these skills were second nature to my grandparents generation but nearly lost to our generation. It is a Journey Back to Basics.
