In this week’s tutorial, I’ll walk you through a simple yet powerful exercise that involves drawing a stack of books.
It’s a great way to practice visualizing objects as basic forms while sharpening your ability to capture shapes, angles, and proportions so you can create solid, believable forms.
Depending on your comfort level, you can keep it easy with just a couple of books and similar angles, or challenge yourself by setting up and photographing a more complex stack.
