A rare 2er for realrecord, though we've seen them in some larger games on here before!
They didn't seem all that used to this format, as they didn't store extra resources in some situations where they'd clearly be stuck at the top of the turn order next turn. Also not a fan of the 08 on this map, with coal starting out much more expensive than normal.
This game shows how to use the smaller, more efficient plants to carry you through early Italy. Very surprised realrecord gave me the 13 at cost then bought *19* while i was using 06 - 13 needed to be bid some, and 12 would've been much better after that since oil was getting so cheap.
Passing on the 18 with 20 on deck is not a play i'd normally make in 2P, but i knew capacity would be much more important when the building is this cheap. Ended up in an interesting spot with 25 vs. 20, and do not regret my bidding at all. It may seem strange to pay so much more for 25, but we had enough time left in the game that the resource costs would add up for the 20. Really think realrecord should've taken 21 over 20 once that dropped!
