The famous box canyon trestle. Built in 1911, the trestle goes over the Pend Oreille River. The dam below the bridge was built in 1955. Here the Pend Oreille Valley Railroad's Lions Club train crosses the bridge. The northbound trip has a three minute pause on the bridge, where as the southbound train just crosses without stopping.
