PLEASE READ to understand! – (Iyrics & dialogue below) – song requested for this couple by Melstrife :) – vid is strongly fashioned after my PotO phanphic “Come to Me” since that’s all I could think of as I did this– (a blend of PotO/ Wuthering Heights) – for those who don’t know my story, just think of it that Christine knew Erik before coming to the opera house, in their childhood, and thought him dead…

Major spoilers for my story follow in description of vid: Erik insists he is not Erik, in part to punish Christine, though she is sure it’s him and determines to unmask him in more ways than one – later, the lyrics “This man is dead, etc,” also refer to when he ceased with the masquerade but told her the man she once knew was dead….when he mentions the Château d'If (a prison), I showed his lair there, since it became to him like a prison. Also, I showed him writing the note to get her to the opera house as revenge for what he believed was her betrayal… her memories are in shades of purple/his are in shades of blue… when he sings what truly happened (lines such as “A story told, By those he trusted, those he loved,” etc. - - he is most of the time not singing to her but to himself or thinking it (those lyrics when it gives away who he is and what she was to him) - also showing his memories of past - except at end of vid, when they have their confrontation, and he admits the truth, that she was right all along - he is Erik…when it shows Meg & Christine during “Phantom of the Opera and C saying “It’s him” – it is when she reveals to Meg that the Phantom is Erik, her lost childhood love… I used PonR as the present (since he wears a full black mask the entire time of his masquerade) and blurred the people in background out when I could (since most of those confrontations take place in his lair… most of MotN is their past… In final part of song, where it shows the “truth” when she takes his mask away – I show in his POV “You broke my heart” how he thought she betrayed him with Raoul – and in her POV “I gave you my mind blindly” the mirror shows the truth of the past - with her grieving for him –telling him his “death” almost destroyed her…sparkle clips – Pond5 –one clip from Wuthering Heights… dialogue from movie and Mystery Legends Phantom of the Opera game.
