A short video on testing potentiometers with a signal tracer. Somewhat successful. A method shown to me by someone many years ago and not used in many years. Would be interesting to know what results other people have. There are other testing methods; this is just one. I first started out with a 9 volt battery, then switched to 6 volts from a power supply, then even dropped the voltage to 3 volts. One pin of the pot was connected to the power source, the wiper was connected to the capacitor, and the other lead of the pot was connected to ground. Both parts of a stereo pot would have to be tested separability. Unfortunately, I could not spend more time with this. With the 2nd pot, a "pop" could be heard.
