Test I learned a long time ago. In the video I set the suspected bad radio to the AM frequency of 600 kHz. The IF frequency in this case is 455 KHz. Both added together equal 1055 kHz. I then tuned the good radio to around 1055 KHz so I could pick up the radiated signal from the suspected bad radio. It is often necessary to bring the antenna of the good radio close to the oscillator section of the suspected bad radio in order to get a response.
