What is the position of the EU in the security architecture of Indo-Pacific region in the shade of the increasing US-China rivalry. The rise of China, the re-orientation of US strategy toward the Indo-Pacific, and the increasing stake of emerging powers, all point to an uncertain order in the Indo-Pacific region. Increasing complexity in great power politics makes it imperative for the EU to have the strong definition of its regional security posture. Thus, it is worth asking some fundamental questions regarding the possible role and position of the EU toward the Indo-Pacific:
