See my photography trip to Indiana (Indianapolis and Evansville) and learn what happens when I meet the Grim Reaper on the shores of the Ohio River. (Spoiler: I took her photograph.) I wanted to use a flash, but it was raining and I decided to go with natural light, which was great because of the overcast skies. The natural light photographs of Ash on the Ohio River are wonderful. Clouds make a great soft box for outdoor portrait photography! I used the Fuji GFX 50s, my Kipon adapter with a Canon 40mm STM and a Fuji GF 63mm 2.8.
Also, I participated in my first YouTube collaboration with my friend Ash, and you can see the results on her vlog (linked just below). As far as philosophy goes, find out why I'm not bothered about checking 2 bags of flash equipment and then not even using them. And see the portraits I take for one of my oldest friends.
