After putting it off for far too long, I took my first plunge into film soup. Souped film is when the film is exposed to chemicals not designed to be in contact with the emulsion. In more fun terms, it's dunking your film into drinks, literal soups, and many other chemicals to create damage that can lead to an unpredictable and delightful result. Join me on two sessions as I photograph Bree and Ashleigh on some old Fujifilm 35mm film, and an odd roll of Seattle Filmworks 400 (the non- ECN-2 variety). Also catch some images I made on Portra 400, and Kodak Colorplus 200.
