With all this talk of "Defend Pop-Punk" I can't help but wonder what we are defending pop-punk from. Are we trying to convince people that pop-punk is good? Are we trying to defend it from death? Or something else? Do we really need to know what killed pop-punk?
Sure, the days of bands like blink-182 and green day being front and center in the public eye may be behind us, but there are still bands making great pop-punk music.
