Higher Lonely Power surprise released on January 1st, ending the detroit band Fireworks' long hiatus. In this video I talk about the history of fireworks, their full-length releases "Oh, Common Life" and "Gospel" and "All I Have To Offer Is My Own Confusion", as well as their debut "We Are Everywhere".

Fireworks is a pop-punk / indie rock / alt-rock band from Detroit, Michigan. They are one of my favorite bands of all time. They have started their own label, funeral plant collective.
