Hello guys!

Do you remember the little 5 vs 7 vs 3 polymeters tutorial?
Here's the same poly but adding a kick in 4, as some of you asked :D
The 7 is actually a 14 if I want to relate to a same 16th notes subdivision.
If I played only the first note of each group of notes, this could also be seen as a 60 vs 140 vs 105 vs 84 polyrhythm (haha) happening in a very zoomed in (or a veeeery long) bar! But it's the same principle: it's about superposing different groups of notes using the same common subdivision.

Philip Maniez first told me about this fun poly.

Enjoy!

In the live from 2 days after this vid I explain how I'm working these kinds of rhythms!

---------------
If you wanna dive deeper into how to create and master this kind of original rhythm, and use polymeters in your playing, compositions and creativity in general, I wrote a drum method, The Polyrhythm Odyssey, dedicated to it. You can find it here:

To anyone that would like the related DRUMS SHEET

An already-written sheet gives the answer. It's by trying to write it yourself that you will understand how things interlock together and that you'll make some concrete progress! Don't hesitate to DM me on instagram so I can check if you got it right.
But if you don't wanna bother, you can buy it straight away on my website:
