Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce says the increasing political violence in Australia is “not representative” of the real Australian narrative.

“It is not Australia, what we see now, one side is crazy obsessive correctness which … takes it to a position which is unbelievable,” Mr Joyce said.

“Just not representative of how the Australian narrative is.”
