A police officer was at the right place at the right time to save a life in a recent incident in Taipei. A scooter rider that had been waiting a red light collapsed to the ground, apparently due to a medical problem. He lost his breathing and his pulse.

Fortunately for him, officer Wang from the Xiyuan Police Station was directing traffic at the intersection. She immediately called 119, and began performing CPR on the man, until paramedics arrived at the scene. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he regained his vital signs and his condition stabilized.
