After a while of searching the Castelia Sewers with Hugh, Rosa has found a pair of Team Plasma's Grunts hiding out. Hugh declares his hatred for the organization, which provokes the pair into challenging them to a Pokémon battle!
Team Plasma Grunts:
This pair of goons was hiding out in the sewers. When Hugh spots them, he immediately calls them out for their evil, prompting them to challenge the kids to a battle to subdue them!
Sandile & Scraggy:
The two Grunts use Sandle, the Desert Croc Pokémon, and Scraggy, the Shedding Pokémon. The former knows Sand-Attack, Torment, Sand Tomb, and Assurance, while the latter can use Sand-Attack, Faint Attack, Headbutt, and Swagger.
With the underlings defeated, they do what they do best: flee. With them gone, Burgh arrives, stopping Hugh from recklessly chasing after them. When the hot-blooded Trainer leaves, though, Rosa and the Gym Leader encounter a dubious scientist, who appears to be fascinated with the power that her Pokémon drew out.

Undyne, the Captain of the Royal Guard, is attempting to gather some firewood by cutting down one of the trees in Snowdin Forest with a chainsaw. Mad Dummy, who appears to have tagged along with her from Waterfall, is curious about its usage, and wants to feel it for themselves.
