Upon arriving in Dewford Town, Brendan attempts to find Steven, so as to deliver the Letter that Mr. Stone gave him. However, he is nowhere to be found in town, so the only other option is to look around the nearby Granite Cave. Eventually, after some time spent wandering in the dark, the boy is able to find the person he needs to locate and delivers the Letter. In return, Steven gives him a TM containing the move Steel Wing before they register each other in their PokéNavs.
