Here is another long part where I go through quite a bit of the other storylines. I manage to catch a Paldean Tauros at (2:26) and Ghastly evolves shortly after (3:30). I heal up and go back through the Eastern Province and enter Area Three, which seems to be a mining area. Skiploom evolves at (10:58) and Phanpy evolves shortly after (11:20). After a bit more of traveling around the area, I encounter the Steel Titan (23:55), easily weakening it with Crocalor. I find where it escaped to (25:46) and take it down with Arven helping out. With it defeated, the Miraidon gains a higher jump (29:59) and Arven shows us why he is going on this hunt for the Herba Mystica. After getting some good news, I head back out and explore the area a bit more and find another Gimmieghoul at (37:40). After taking on more trainers, I finally make it to a Pokémon Center and get ready to trade with my second console so I can evolve Gengar. Afterward, I finally make it to Zapapico, a small town with nothing of import at the moment. I head back to Uva Academy and take some math classes. Upon passing the midterm, you will get 5 Exp. Candies S. I decide to tackle the rest of the classes another time and head back to West Province (Area One).
I go through this area, taking on trainers before finding the third titan. Bombirdier seems to be a pretty low level, so I take it out easily with Arven’s help (1:10:48). With it defeated, Miraidon gains the ability to swim across water (1:13:51). With that handy ability, I explore more of Area One before eventually making it to the Asado Desert (1:24:23) where I eventually find the fourth titan, Iron Treads (1:29:15). This is at a higher level, so at my current level, I definitely need to use X items. After weakening it, I take it on once again with Arven (1:32:18) and finally defeat it. With that, Miraidon gains its fourth ability, the power to glide (1:38:36). I travel around a bit more before arriving at Porto Marinada (1:44:08), then explore the West Paldean Sea (1:45:50). I encounter a level 60 Raichu (1:47:32) and actually manage to catch it thanks to lowering its speed and accuracy stats. Unfortunately, with this game, if you have an overleveled Pokémon, it will disobey you, even if has your OT and ID Number. I head back to the mainland and find out that Team Star has blocked the way again. Even though Miraidon can use its high jump to leap over it, I take on Team Star. After defeating the two grunts, I take on the Star Barrage, where I have to send out the top three Pokémon in my party in Let’s Go fashion to take out 30 Pokémon within 10 minutes. After easily doing that, I take on Giacomo, the boss of the Dark Crew, and easily defeat him, forcing him to step down.
Cassiopeia and Penny give me some rewards, I head over to City to take on the gym. However, the Gym Leader, Kofu, left his wallet (2:10:07), so I head over to Porto Marinada (2:11:24) to find him and return it. I take on his friend (2:12:14), then perform the gym test, which is to win an auction for Kofu (2:15:53). After winning it, he lets you keep the excess money, then I find out the overleveled Raichu won’t even do Let’s Go autobattles. I head back to the Cascarrafa Gym, and meet another Elite Four member, Rika (2:21:09) before taking on Kofu. Since he uses water types, I stick to Jumpluff for this battle. I realize a bit too late that its Tera Type is Flying, but I still manage to defeat Kofu in the end. After meeting Nemona (2:29:17), I stock up on some X items and head on to take out Team Star Fire Crew’s Base near Artazon (2:34:26).
After defeating Mela, I explore the base before heading back to West Province (Area One) and make my was to Medali. I find a terastallized Altaria (2:58:18) and catch it before finally arriving at Medali (3:02:46).
