Run Difficulty: Pray to the Random Number God
I made more than my fair share of mistakes in this run and got trolled a lot, but you really couldn't ask for better luck in a single segment run of this game. This run was deathless. There were a lot of close calls, but there were also a lot of moments where the enemy trolls me hard. The biggest troll moment comes when the enemy is down to zero defenders, then plays a Professor Oak followed by a new line of defenders.
It should be noted that I got the early Scyther, so I was able to do that route. If I hadn't, you have to hope you get one from the computer when you check the emails, and the Rock Gym would be your fifth stop.
I wasn't lucky enough to get an Electabuzz before doing the Water Gym, but Pikachu was able to handle it just fine.

Megaman 2 for the NES (Capcom 1989)
This is a hacked version of Megaman 2, it adds ammo to most of the weapons and adds changes to Time Stopper, Crash Bombs, and Leaf Shield.
It makes the game a breeze until the final boss, where the tweaks become questionable as the author decided to limit you of the only ammo usable on the final boss. You have just enough ammo to beat him.

Run Skill Level: Absolute cakewalk until final boss, then it becomes a real mess.
