Last of the batch! I don't know when the next set of videos will resume, but I'm working on them, there's still so much backlog left to trawl through...!
This song's got a bit of an interesting tale then; I started the intro and meant it for something else, but it went nowhere, so Colgate asked if he could use it for Quarantine Crystal's Victory Road theme, to which I said yes. Later on, he cleaned up Pokémon Crystal's audio engine for easier use, and he sent me a mock-up of an enhanced take of this song in DMs; I decided to pursue my own take, which was heavily based on this shared WIP, but in Furnace instead.
This render is actually from a real Game Boy Advance SP! Captured from the headphone output into my Behringer RX1602 going into my MOTU interface. Denoised with Edison's denoising tools to get rid of the subtle ground hum.
