2nd place on one of the hardest Pokemon in the game! It's very tight to fit all the Sandshrew nicely in frame, and all the luring is very precise! Really happy to get a nice skip for this one!

Optimal gameplay for each player is fairly simple. For each of the team of three, mashing as fast as possible is fastest, but because movement is very acceleration-based, mashing even half as fast as possible loses just one second. For the solo player, up and down dont affect speed, but moving to the right side as much as possible saves some time. Once the solo player is as far as they can go horizontally, holding right isnt necessary, and all thats needed is dodging.
If players can mash fast enough, the team of three wins, but if theyre a fair bit slower and the solo player isnt colliding into obstacles, the solo player can win.")

After experimenting with the previous Lapras TAS I made, I found this score! 530 is the highest bonus point amount ever achieved, so unless 540 for bonus points of 540 for size are possible, this is getting close to the limit!
Note that while this TAS is built off of my setup strategy, the ending uses some inhuman precision, so copying the setup for real attempts wont quite match this.")

Kakuna is a tricky and precise Pokemon to get good shots of, and requires an Electrode to explode. I developed this setup so that manually blowing up an Electrode is unnecessary, and positioning is adjusted for getting a great shot.
Instructions:
1) Optional: Resetting the console ensures you have the same RNG each time, as the Kakunas can drop in different ways. This isnt a significant difference though, and its more efficient to just retry.
2) Skip the cutscene, hold R, and press C-right after crashing.
3) Pause on the correct frame. You can use the U and the light spot on the wall to check. If youre a bit off, you still may be able to get a decent score, or you can be picky and retry.
4) Let go of R, hold Z, and then unpause. Because of the FPS of the game, you can get two different sets of frames, and you need the correct one for this setup. There is no way to control this, but you can still get decent shots with the incorrect one.
5) Very gently tap down on the controller stick, turn a fair bit to the right, and press A on the correct frame.")
