Thirty-eighth video. This is the background music for the third dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. The name of the boss of this dungeon is Mothula; by "an astonishing coincidence," this dungeon is called the Poison Moth's Lair.
I never would have guessed it, but this might have been the most challenging dungeon to make in Mario Paint Composer. It took me a while to realize that the notes in the second section were triplets, and when I found that out I immediately began doubting myself because it sounded way too fast. As it turns out, there was indeed a tempo change midway through the song. It's such a weird theme, full of random noises and discordant melodies; I hope you enjoy it.
The actual dungeon was one of the most unpleasant in the game, far trickier than the previous two. It actually took more time for me to beat the miniboss, Calamareye, than it did to beat the boss. Who would have thought you'd have to pick a squid up out of the water with the Power Bracelet rather than hack it to pieces right away with the sword?
