This video demonstrates how VTT’s point-of-gaze system operates in various traffic scenarios. In the demo, the driver’s gaze direction is determined using two cameras installed inside the vehicle. Using the vehicle’s LiDAR and camera, objects of interest in the traffic environment—those that may enter the vehicle’s path—are detected. The driver’s gaze direction vector is then combined with this information to determine, at each moment, which object the driver is looking at during the drive.
