Learn to make this practical and fun Pocket Picnic Pillow to take on all your relaxing outdoor activities. Made with all organic materials from Organic Cotton Plus (http://www.organiccottonplus.com), this pocket pillow is not only useful, but also sustainable!
Materials needed
1 16'' x 16'' pillow form
2 piece 11'' x 16'' cotton for backing (i used organic canvas)
1 piece 4'' x 16'' for the handle
1 piece 16'' x 16'' for front
1 piece 16'' x 20'' for pocket ( i made mine using patchwork as described in the video)
sewing machine, thread, sewing scissors, and iron/ ironing board also needed
This is a beginner project! You can make this in about 1 hour or less. Some fun additions would be piping or pom pom trim, a zipper closure instead of the envelope style, monograms. applique, etc.
