Relax outdoors on a beautiful picnic quilt handmade by YOU! This pretty quilt can be made in less than 3 hours by using 12 Fat Quarters and ripping (yes ripping!) your fabrics. For my version of the quilt I used all organic cottons provided by Organic Cotton Plus. The finished size of the quilt is 78'' x 52''. See the materials list below for links and extra important info.
Materials needed
12 Fat Quarters in Quilting Cotton in 4 colors (3 FQs of each).
8 yards of Cotton Twill Tape
1 3/4 yard 90'' wide cotton batting
1 3/4 yard quilt backing (usually comes in 108'' width)
thread for quilting
pins for basting
Sewing machine
Iron and ironing board
