I love sewing with zippers! But I admit they used to intimidate me. This video shows a VERY easy method to make a lined pouch with a zipper. You can change the dimensions and make any kind of zipper project you would like- make up pouch, tote bag, lunch bag, sunglass case, etc. This is a perfect skill for a beginner to learn!

To make this pencil pouch, you will need,
2 pieces cotton 5'' x 9.5'' for exterior
2 pieces cotton 5'' x 9.5'' for lining
2 pieces fusible interfacing 5'' x 9.5'' amzn.to/2OE1sFS
1 nylon zipper 7'' or longer
1/2'' x 5'' scrap fabric for zipper pull (optional!)
