PLINI – Friends On Stage JAM track

This is my interpretation of the drum and bass that where played during the jam at the end of PLINI’s concert in Europe. He invites Jack Gardiner and Jakub Zytecki on stage to improvise over this track. After Jack and Kakub has shown their incredible talent, Plini and Jake Howsam Lowe (band member) do a twin improvisation.

I added piano to give the track a little more body and added some reverb to experience more of a live feeling.

With examples and Tabs. String muting is a technique that most guitarist have used at least once or twice. It’s a technique where you mute the string by either the left hand or the right hand. A very famous riff of a very famous song is the verse from Chic – Le Freak. It uses a combination of left and right hand techniques. You can also mute chords like in the Michael Jackson song ‘Rock With You’. In this video we’ll explore the left and right hand muting technique by means of awesome funky examples with tablature.
