Remember my old [semi]-weekly 'Scene It?'-style VG-footage game show series from years past? It's official....its resurrection from total abandonment has occurred, and as Lady Miyako would say, "The time is nigh! The time of its awakening is nigh....the revival of Played It? Name It! is drawing closer....are your hears and minds prepared for a new dawning?"
This is Part D of Season 1 from Summer 2009.

The Holiday seasons upon us YET AGAIN, as Ive decided to spread some of my cheer here as best as possible - by unleashing an ultimate Underrated Shmups Triad this month! And heres one of its disciples - inspired by the likes of Konamis own Life Force, no less - worthy and convicted enough to step up to the plate!!

![Parodius Walkthrough [Part 3]
Trekking our way back to the Gradius franchise, heres a gag-infested, tongue-in-cheek parody that most Japs & Euros alike would definitely be familiar with! (Why this game and/or its sequels never saw the light of day in the US years ago is anybodys guess....) Immature complaint aside, this segment is a continuation of Area 5 (excuse the accidental cutoff at the beginning; I saved a state by accident before capturing), ending with Areas 6 & 7.

Whats even more f ked up - this mainframe computer controls each and every weapon throughout our planet! How to rectify this crisis - a voluntary subjects mind transfer into the computer to regain control (a la Tron). Enter Scott OConnor - a 25-year-old Army colonel - reincarnated as a kabuki actor in a full get-up, with an extensive and deadly head of red spiked hair, and traditional Japanese clothes, hence what a huge influence his great-great grandpa, Danjuro, had on OConnor during one of his earlier life phases. Therefore, he must venture the mainframe and exterminate each and every viral invader within it.
