Despite never being heavy into sitcoms (except Married With Children / Family Guy, etc.), here's one that's been on the brain for decades - Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman & David Crane's FRIENDS. 2 days ago, one of its 6 headlining stars has just recently passed - I'm of course, referring to MATTHEW PERRY (aka Chandler Bing; who also appeared in Fools Rush In, Almost Heroes, The Whole Nine AND Ten Yards, Serving Sara, etc.)!
What better way to commemorate the occasion by presenting the NES-inspired and Genesis-inspired covers of the show's iconic opening theme by the Rembrandts?! Although, granted, the NES' lifespan has already died out before the show aired, and the 16-bit fad in consoles was still reigning supreme while 32-bit / 64-bit were on the rise...all pointless rambling aside, ENJOY ONE AND ALL!

Trekking our way back to the Gradius franchise, heres a gag-infested, tongue-in-cheek parody that most Japs & Euros alike would definitely be familiar with! (Why this game and/or its sequels never saw the light of day in the US years ago is anybodys guess....) Immature complaint aside, this segment covers Areas 3-5 (ending when Vic Viper enters through the cakehole of the Moai brothership).

Taking a break from the usual shmups, Ive decided to dive once again into Katsuhiro Otomos graphic-novel-turned-anime-feature-phenomenon....in the form of a psychic adventure (menu command choice* / interactive / point-and-click) game!
This part continues during the psychic migraine Tetsuo suffers with, resulting in being captured and taken to the Army lab, up until the Resistances wiring shaft sewer skirmish.
As before, English translation annotations will be conveniently added throughout, given that the game contains Japanese text. (Note: prior to Danke & Pennywises fan-translated rom, I actually had up a playthrough of the game; some of the paraphrased translations will be inspired by what I had before, as well as theirs - NO plagiarism intended).
