Hi Guys and Gals Have had allot going on this week and had some great trains arrive in the mail! This one is one of those but it didn't arrive in the mail it was brought here by my Dad for the purpose of Unboxing just for you Guys and Gals!
The Elegant Saloon 8000 series is a double decker electric passenger train that runs in Japan on the Keihan Railway providing a "Limited express" service between Kyoto and Osaka. The paint scheme is red and yellow with gold bands, I feel it is represented well in this Plarail version.
This Elegant Saloon 8000 series runs on a "C size" battery and would be well suited to Mr.Motorman control. This train is FAST! and rides the rails very well never having much drama while filming. The drive unit is a 2-speed arrangement and the battery installs from underneath.
I filmed this in 1080p with my new camera a samsung nx1000 with 20-50mm lens with most of it shot on a tripod so please forgive as I am still learning this setup and hopefully my videos will only improve with better equipment. I did learn from this video that I need to have the camera closer for the unboxing as i get a bit hard to hear at times hehe. but what I have to say doesn't really matter as the trains are the stars and I will always try and showcase them for YOU!
