More plantbased ramen? We just can’t get enough! Our mission is to review all the vegan ramen options out there! We ventured out to Gyo Para in Kitsilano because they have a separate vegetarian section with vegan options and we made sure ahead of time by checking with them that they did have actual vegan ramen. The space is small and we luckily didn’t need to wait for a table. We shared the veggie gyoza, the vegetarian miso ramen, and the vegetarian tantanmen made extra spicy. You can make your ramen “hell-fire” spicy for an extra charge and complimentary toppings include crushed garlic, chilli oil, and garlic oil. They advertise they use all natural ingredients and do not use MSG - but maybe MSG was the missing ingredient…Watch our review to see if we enjoyed our meal and how Gyo Para stacks up against its competitors.
