Healthy waffle breakfast that’s vegan! Well, we don’t know if our orders were healthy, but Waffleland in Vancouver, BC does have a vegan section on their menu that offers both savoury and sweet options. We visited the weekend and it was quite busy, so we were glad we got a table right away. We shared the Smoked Tofu Lover on a Norwegian waffle and the Enchanted Forest on a liege waffle. We had considered getting the Chicken’n Waffle, but we saw another table order it and it looked like it was just pieces of Gardein chicken tenders on top of waffles which isn’t so interesting. The Smoked Tofu Lover came with a side of maple syrup and the combination of ingredients was unexpected and the Enchanted Forest had some classic waffle toppings. The portions are a bit on the small side though there were people getting their orders in to go boxes. Would we go back to Waffleland? Watch to find out!
