Plant-based dosa hotspot, Dosa Factory, is churning out huge portions of their dosas and they have a lot of competition in the neighborhood! On Mondays, they have an amazing deal where all dosas are just $7.99. We don’t think we could buy our own ingredients and make a dinner for that amount of money, so definitely go on a Monday if you’re curious about dosas. The place has plenty of seating, but the place gets packed on Mondays, so you may need to wait. Service is a bit spotty, but understandable with so many customers at once. The dosas that are vegan are not marked, so make sure you ask for them to check with the kitchen on making your order vegan. We had the eggplant dosa and the alu gobi dosa and they both came with two vegan chutneys and a side of dal. If you like spice, the eggplant dosa was spicy while the alu gobi dosa wasn’t. Dosa Factory is also open until 3AM, so it’s one of the few places in Vancouver that’s open super late. We don’t think you can go wrong with a hearty and relatively healthy meal for $7.99 in this city, so you should check out Dosa Factory!
