Plant based tacos can be ordered off the Tacofino menu at their various locations in Vancouver, BC and Tacofino is a super popular place to visit. We went to their location in Gastown and it had plenty of indoor seating and it also had seats in their front and back patios. The odd thing about this Tacofino location was that burritos could only be ordered at the burrito bar for takeout and tacos could only be ordered for dining in the restaurant or back patio. They have a few clearly marked vegan options and we both tried the crispy oyster mushroom taco, the eggplant taco and the street corn chorizo tostada. A warning that all their items are topped with cilantro! Our food came quickly and the service was friendly, but Tacofino is definitely not a place that serves traditional Mexican food.
