The procedures and principles are applicable to most planers, with modifications according to brand and model.
These procedures should not be attempted by anyone who is not already skilled in shop safety. Planer blades are sharp and must be handled with care to avoid injury.
Some of the procedures shown must be duplicated, but are only shown once. For example, one blade and jib are removed; the second is not shown. One table extension is leveled; the other is not shown. In such cases, where it is obvious that the procedure must be done twice, I have only shown it once for the sake of time, since the actions would be identical. It is the viewer's part to understand that the procedure was repeated off-screen.
