PK-999 is not a CZ emulation but can cover a lot of CZ ground. My PK creates more complex (read nasty) waveforms by using a PD OSC to modulate the PD of the main PD OSC. Yes, a little recursive. Like all CZs, PK-999 has two complete synths running in parallel with a simple modulation system.

Sound is unique. It has the Casio CZ sound but also allows it to be carried into a meaner FM sort of territory that is a lot gnarlier than what most synths allow. It will get nasty fast. Apply external effects, chorus, echo, reverb, etc and PK-999 can also be lovely with a coarse digital graininess.

What PK-999 does not do is a Filter, Presets, on-board FX, or as already mentioned an Apple version. This is all about finding something different.

PK-999 64 Bit Windows VST3 is only $2 (no Apple version)
