Pizzo is a Calabrian seaside town, home of ice cream Tartufo, full of tiny streets, a hotchpotch of red rooftops, historic attractions and the charming centro storico with piazza that overlooks a charming marina. With peeling pink and yellow painted walls, cobbled streets and a vespa parked on almost every corner. The near Piedigrotta church is carved out of the sedimentary rock with many stone statues.
