Fortified Town of Meknes is now mostly under construction. It is considered to be the Maroccan Versailles. Old Medina, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and part of Royal Palace are on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mausoleum contains a tomb of Sultan Moulay Ismail and is a good example of islamic architecture.
