Agia Irini is a small beach in the Gulf of Parikia, located on the southwest coast of the island, just 4 km from the capital Parikia. The beach owes its name to the small church of St. Irina, standing nearby on a hill. Just behind the beach is a very relaxing campsite, full of palm trees and olive trees and has a very good tavern serving a big variety of Greek traditional food.
