This video is a little scattered in its focus. Overall, I tried to get simultaneous events to occur. First, I try approaching the red Onion as Louie while dying (this requires performing day 1 extinction: youtube.com/watch?v=IieBje4CqMo&t ). One of 2 things happen: the "Louie is down!" cutscene can play, or the cutscene of Louie approaching the Onion plays. Unfortunately, I couldn't get both to overlap, though perhaps there is a frame where more glitches could happen. On the other hand, I did find something else out while doing this...

After further tests, I concluded that this glitch occurs whenever a captain following the primary captain dies, and I avoid pressing X. However, in the video, I switched to Louie right before he dies, and once he dies, you can hear the dismiss sound. In spite of this, it appears that Olimar/Louie were still following each other as Louie died, which is unexpected and interesting. At the end of the video, I also show off that a resurrected captain is capable of awakening Chrysanthemums and flint beetles, making resurrected captains potentially useful.
Another test I had tried was switching to Louie for the first time as he dies. Both results were demonstrated in the video: either the cutscene of Louie being switched to played before he dies (making the captains invincible for the cutscene), or Louie dies and the cutscene of Louie being switched to plays with Olimar doing the animations. Interestingly, in this second case scenario, the cutscene will focus on the spot were Louie died. Note that I have previously tried to get these 2 cutscenes to overlap, but didn't succeed (which could mean that there is a frame where something interesting happens that I didn't get).
