I recently discovered a technique I call the Durble. For some reason, a durian can bounce when Mario bounces on it occasionally, and if I'm careful, I can bounce on the durian twice. With a precise position and angle, I can make it to the shine sprite.
I would have cut between my failed attempts, but I wanted to show that I avoided using the hover nozzle or pressing A.

EDIT: I meant durian when I said darbian in the video (and the name of the glitch is Durble), I'm not sure why I made that horrible mistake everywhere :(
